Totally
misrepresented his company’s experience and ability to secure vendors and
sponsors. This one thing
created such horrific problems and stress, it ended up
being a contributing factor for the show’s cancellation.
Eric was also
contracted to secure sponsors. In a city of 105 microbrews, he couldn’t get one
sponsor of any kind. Just a complete fraud and imbecile.
I don’t believe Eric
or Kayla ever physically met with any sponsors, nor did they ever make a
physical presentation to them. How many beers did they contact for sponsorship
and how did they contact them.
Totally
unprofessional, uncaring effort.
They were going to end up charging is $5,000 to secure $11,400 worth of
vendors. When this was brought up with
July: I asked him 5-6
times in the last few weeks if he wanted me to take over the Vending operation
as far as soliciting was concerned. I was hearing more reports that potential
vendors could not reach them.
Though requested in
acknowledged emails, they never tendered the vendor agreements.
Once the event
switched from Hornings to Columbia Meadows confirmed by July 11, I requested
the new vendor application and other docs to inspect them. I requested them for
weeks. If I got them it was not until my attorney pushed them for them in
August.
We never signed the
vendor agreements. Just sent the checks and the vendor name was re[orted occasionally on a print out. The vendors, who could
not be verified, were demanding
refunds after the festival.
Eric acknowledged 2
weeks before that I was to receive a final list of all vendors on the 25th
by
Weeks before the
event, he also asked me if I’d rather have Brad Lyman run concessions during
the show rather than Kayla Hutt who proved incompetent and ineffective. Eric
was walking around with Kayla backstage the morning of the 25th and
Brad was not there.
Some of the vendors
claim they were never made aware of the venue change.
